Datsun h165, b110 ute diff.
Basically complete LESS axles and brakes, has had mod to fit in 1200 sedan (shock mounts added). Has primera or bluebird calliper brackets fitted for disc brakes. Diff head is mint standard, I fitted new bearings to it recently and its not been used since. 4-1.1 ratio. Very hard to get, perfect for ...

Re: Wanted LSD h165 head, nismo, TRD etc
Thanks, I go through stages of wanting too and not. If I get busy on other peoples stuff and go for weeks looking at it not getting anything done I just want it gone but when I get into it again I love it. Ended up costing roughly $1600 give or take, that's a good donor h165 complete diff, new ae86 ...

Re: Wanted LSD h165 head, nismo, TRD etc
Its a good option if your not a looking to become a burnout king and dont need the extra strength of a hilux diff. I have avoided using a hilux diff since going in a car before and after one was fitted, seamed to drain the life out of it quite considerably. Especially n/a rotaries which don't make a...

Re: Wanted LSD h165 head, nismo, TRD etc
Nice to see it worked! I have seen on a couple of jap sites that they just make up a spacer for the d/shaft to diff head http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b104/carlbevan/ae86redrill1_zps804ae5f8.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b104/carlbevan/o0640048012099158870x_zpsd0456bcc.jpg http://i18.ph...

As new KYB inserts, shortened and cut 1200 spring setup
As above out of my 1200 sedan see other posts for pics, sat really nice, rode ok. Good cheap bolt in setup for someone, springs are cut but the inserts are shortened so they were captive. Have gone to adjustys now so no need for them, cost me $300 odd new, make an offer. As new still, probably trave...

Re: Wanted LSD h165 head, nismo, TRD etc
Sorry didn't read it properly first time. Is there a good range of ratios available new for the Toyota diff? Are they trd or aftermarket? Can you re drill Toyota driveshaft flange to datto bolt pattern? Yeah probably better supply than any other option given Toyotas commitment to motorsport and ral...

Re: Wanted LSD h165 head, nismo, TRD etc
That way everything is kept standard, apart from the housing needing modified. Plus the ae86 diff looks a lot stronger, easier to adjust bearing preload, carrier bearings are a lot bigger. I did get some photos but they're not very good, and I was a little excited with my discovery and didn't get pi...

Re: Wanted LSD h165 head, nismo, TRD etc
That's awesome to hear. Did you take any photos? What bearings did you use? I always thought the bearing diameters on the carrier needed to be turned down but obviously not. Hard to separate fact from fiction when it comes to the Internet folklore No I used the complete head with carrier, fitted fi...
