High compression A15's
Hi Guys, My brother bought a couple of A15 heads a while ago that had been modified including skimming the heads. There were no actual details on the compression ratio that was produced. I am now considering using one of them for a supercharged engine (I was previously going to use a non-modified he...

Re: Early A12 alternator mounting bits
Anybody?
Really just after the bit that bolts to the bottom of the block, that the alternator then bolts onto.

Early A12 alternator mounting bits
Hi guys,
I am after the alternator mounting setup from an early a12 engine (i.e. with the alternator low and on the same side as the extractors/intake)
Let me know if you have one lying around
Cheers

Re: Jeremy's 1965 Datsun Bluebird 410
Hey guys, Thanks for the comments, definitely a bit of a slugfest right now, but slowly working through things. Regarding the colour, it will remain close to the original, probably just a little more updated. Plan is to try to sort out the front suspension soon, which will then allow me to complete ...

Re: Early A12 Alternator info
I need to move it because I am mounting a supercharger on the other side where the alternator previously was. It looks like the original a12 mounting position would be about the best alternative. I can make up a custom bracket if I need to, but I find it is easier to start with something to copy or ...

Hi Guys,
Does the early A12 alternator mount (the one that mounts the alternator toward on the bottom of the engine) bolt up to an A15 block?
Cheers

Re: Jeremy's 1965 Datsun Bluebird 410
Right, it's been a little while since my last update so here is some progress: Firstly I have trimmed up the water inlet and the block breather. The water inlet chop was to try and make room for the sc12 however I still couldn't make it fit, even if I was to run the supercharger intake out of the in...

Re: Cutting and dicing the A series
thanks for the replies use a set up like the B110 1200 which had a junction into the bottom hose. Yeah that is what I was looking to do with the heater, utilizing a water temp gauge adapter. Are the water inlet and the block breather pipes steel? I presume I will need to weld a collar around it to k...
