a15 rear engine plate

Hi All, Quick question (hopefully), how can I be sure if I can use a rear engine plate? I have an A15, am using a A12 flywheel and a 60a gearbox. From what I can gather as long as the gearbox is using anything but an old Datsun 1200 long release bearing carrier, I can use the engine plate? Is that c...

Re: Changing wheel studs from 7/16 to m12 and getting more l

Thanks for the replies. I've got to press some of the current windows studs out to measure the knurl, but info on Ratsun suggests they are less than a 12mm knurl. As I want to go to 12mm studs, the knurl is likely going to be at least 12.3mm if serrated. I believe the 510 was 12x1.25 to start so can...

Thanks Bart, would that be the location in this pic where is seems a factory sensor was installed later, or is it on my other left?

Changing wheel studs from 7/16 to m12 and getting more lengt

Hi all, With the wheels I'm running and the disc brake conversion I want to get longer wheel studs and also convert from 7/16-20 (Datsun 410) to m12. The discs I am using are drilled to m12 so there is some slop that I would rather not have. Keen to hear from anyone who has done this before. In part...

A15 Coolant sensor location for megasquirt

Hi guys, Just working on wiring up my engine for the megasquirt I'll be running, and wanted to see what people had done in the past about the location of the coolant sensor. I want to keep the standard coolant sensor in place for the dash, and have a bosch sensor for the megasquirt as it has known c...

Re: New daily whip. 1966 410 bluebird.

There are a few still out there for parts so don't give up on it. I'd just hit up people on trademe selling them, as quite a few people seem to have parts cars (I believe the one on trademe recently has a parts car).
