Any chance of a spline count and measuring the diameter? I have a Datsun 410, so not sure if it will fit.

Pretty sure that site is wrong in listing the 411 as having an E1. As far as I am aware the E1 was only in the 410 and the 411 had the J13 (listed on that site as a Datsun 1300). Also the years they list for the 312,410 411 etc is wrong in that the 411 didn't come out until 1965 (they stop the years...

I run un-stepped lock collars on all my datsuns atm. Thanks Bart. Just went and did more measuring etc. and I really cant' see the point of the step unless it is just to create a secondary oil seal or something. Anyway, think I will just go the non-collared and hope for the best!! Just working out ...
