Re: 16" Tyre Option's
HI there, I run 205/40/16's on my 1600, with 7" wide rims.
Fr offset will depend on your struts/hubs , between +15
and +25 would be a rough ballpark guess.
If you run 40 series you will keep close to the orig.
rolling diameter also.

Re: KA24DE Help
Haha glad to pass it on to a good cause :) Hey Bart hope your 1600 and 1200 are both going OK. The CA18det was a great engine I was really happy with it! Niccy I meant to say you can find a proper rwd KA24de in some of the later model Navara's. They are rare though- I found one but they were asking ...

Re: Datsun 1600 vs Datsun 1200
I had both for a while but found the 1200 (ute) too small for me, I
love 1200's though almost all Datsuns of that generation are great
cars and fun to own, I think in NZ the 1200 was always really popular
and must have sold well back in the day.

Re: KA24DE Help
HI Niccy, I Just saw your post that's cool you want to convert to the KA! I haven't done much car stuff lately or been to NZDATsun for ages - but here is a pic of my 1600. It has a KA24DE+T I installed about 3 years ago. I used an engine from a w10 Largo which are quite common and are RWD but have a...

Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions
There was a very nice '68 SSS in Rangiora a while ago. I was visiting
a friend a few years back and the electrician working on his house owned
a couple of 1600's, one was a rally car. The early model cars are cool

Re: wanted R160 diff ratios
Most 1600's will have 3;9 R160 some early cars 3:7 Manual Legacys have open/ vlsd 3:9 / 4:1 depending on year Auto Legacys seem to normally have open/ vlsd 4:4 Have seen some Leones with 4:1 altho most seem to be 3:9 though. Some of the STi Wrx's have a higher ratio too,and some run the R180 as well...

Re: Datsun 280ZX Trailing Arms 4/ 5 stud
Not much really, they were used about 10 years ago when running 300zx 16" wheels was cool . They do have disc brakes but need a coilover shock and adjustable mounts on a 1600.

Datsun 280ZX Trailing Arms 4/ 5 stud
Datsun 280 ZX trailing arms that have been redrilled to 5 stud, can also use as 4 stud. Were used on 1600 long time ago, free to good home, as I'm moving soon. Would also suit early Skyline/ 910 IRS.
