Re: gingofthesouth's Orangatang 510
That looks like really tidy work, The radiator support where it ties to the intercool is an especially nice touch +1, a lot of thought must have gone in to that The guys who did the work are no amatuers. They used to be fabricators at Speedtech so the quality of the work is very good. I'd suggest t...

NOS ones from a local wrecker still in the sealed plastic bag.dattoboy wrote:Fanstastic progress Ging and good to see frequent updates.
On a side note. What leads are you running on the FJ? I ended up running ones from aussie that cost a tonne and yours are a lot longer.

Re: James 1985 300zx.
Will there be much difference in available grip by going to the 50 profile? I would love to be schooled up on how profile effects grip (through rotation flex etc) or if in a road going tyre wall height won't make much if any difference in grip. Obvious tradeoffs are the side wall flex during corneri...

Re: gingofthesouth's Orangatang 510
Rimutaka prison-spec crossmember hole :o Nice job they did on that. That turbo isn't exactly small either. Are you going to keep the FJ dizzy or swap to a crank trigger? Nice updates. I feel like I need to do something now. At this stage keeping the dizzy because I know no better. Here is another u...

Fuck yes!
As for premature WoF, I was told to go get a WoF (When my 510 is finally done) and then use that sheet to get cert for what it fails on. Having that list helps you get shit carted you may have missed but the WoF guys don't.
Well done all all involved.

Re: Datto_610's 180B - Street Legal!
Just wondering why you don't just make the pump external? I think a decent bosh is less than $200 and then you will be done with the issue. That said $200 is still a bit of $$ on already tight budgets! Im going the route of two pumps and surge tank route. a lift pump to the surge tank and supply pum...

I guess I didn't reply post the update where I had the rear subframe exhaust hole enlarged.
New studs, wheel bearings and dust covers fitted. I put it back in how it was, but it needs to come back out and be stripped and painted, There is that under seal all over it.
