Ohh well you learn something new everyday, The viscous I shimmed up seemed to do the job, mind you it was preloaded so much it was basically just a locker, but its did the job for the track days. I wasn't aware clutch type lsd's could be shimmed although I could well be wrong

Did you mean, Viscous LSD's as that is what the article from the D1NZ forum is describing. I have done this to my old C33 and have found it to be very effective although depending on how much abuse it gets it will wear out over time. It takes a bit of time todo but in my opinion is well worth the ti...
