Cool man. Good progress.
Early days and dunno your plan, but just a thought. wouldn't worry about cooling lines for throttle too. I normally block it off and seal it up. Then can just adjust with screwdriver idle speed.
Cold normally 200rpm less than hot.. no biggie.

yeah, unless you're trying to preserve the engine, might also be more likely to just hit the loud pedal less when not needed, even if higher boost is available.

Re: Jeremy's 1965 Datsun Bluebird 410
Standard 4agze setups have a big 'back off but keep accelerating' problem. It just gets worse as the setup makes more and more power.
In a race car I would avoid at all costs.
In a street car I would look at all options to avoid, like the poster.

BOV is good if you don't want to have any of that supercharger "back off the gas but still accelerate" nonsense...

Re: Jeremy's 1965 Datsun Bluebird 410
Cool project man, I've definitely seen this around before. :D Don't know how you drive shaft situation was but, but we always found Drive Inn out west to be the go. Get the two yokes that you want, and a shaft that's long enough and wide enough to take the two yokes. Measure from end of output shaft...
