Re: WTB: Stock B210 radio
A little while back I found a radio out of a slightly newer Datsun on Trademe. Looked like the older ones but also has an FM band. It has the 5 preset buttons under the dial, 3 for AM band and 2 for FM. Virtually any of the old "twin shaft mount" radios will fit but natuarly one with Datsu...

Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions

door cards.
holes in firewall for brake booster hose mount
radio aerial on the divers A pillar.
A very nice car and after 42 years old who knows but I would look very closely

Re: CRAIGS 510 1600
Bruce Chisholm did the last two rebuilds on my L18 race motor. Ross pistons, offset ground crank, twin plate clutch etc I have been very happy with everything. Bruce and Rodney at Roskilda in Palmy did the dyno tune. If Bruce is not available I am sure Rodney could sort it out.
Good luck Andrew

Re: You Tube Videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvePhfdrun4 Wonder why they need the 2nd set of injectors? Wow now that's an L18 to die for. I had wondered how to use a KA24 head and get good compression with a smaller motor under it. I wonder if they use the 2nd set of injectors to get better mixture control at lo...

Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions

Yes I also have one that is registered as 69, as it was sold new after 1 Jan but is actually a 68 model complete with factory tinted windows, correct chassis number below 40,000 stamped in firewall, sss servo syncho gearbox etc. We will watch with intere...

Re: L18 Pistons/ L28 pistons
These where dished pistons, however I have used that cam with flat top pistons. There are so many variables when it comes to valve to piston clearance. ie how much the head is planned the valve seat level the camshaft profile, the stroke and conrod length. The other critical feature sometimes overlo...

Re: L18 Pistons/ L28 pistons
My spare race motor is a L20B with L28 pistons. I have used this with a cam that gives over 1/2 inch of valve lift with no clearance problems. I am sure the same would work in a L18.
