ok well that sounds good anyways..just see motors on trademe n sht say their got fully balanced bottom end. so guess thats one thing ya do. i dont know what alse could do to the motor without replacing it with a diffrent moto like turbo or sum sht. i got the motor in the car an been doing it up so thats why thought bout doing the bottom end. he asks if it vibrates? said no? but the whole motor shakes when warming it up but thats nothing wouldnt think. other thing i could do would be rocker rollers or whateva their called 4 the head?

Roller rockers are expensive - $1000 or so i'd think. Not much point in having them unless you are constantly revving over 8000rpm etc. Which you wont be doing on a mild cam and standard pistons.
Not much point in balancing your bottom end for a mild build, the money would be better spent on something else. What compression ratio are you running?

A motor that isn't balanced can suffer loose flywheels if you miss a shift and over rev it. (The noise they make is unholy) Ripping the gearbox out to fix it gets old realy quick. Plus the end of the crank/inside of the F'wheel can get fretted it is happens too often, and then it'l never stay on there.

2 b honest wouldnt have a clue what r compression ratio running?
n ok well that kills that idea on roller rockers.. its just i lent my m8 a wee bit of cash awhile ago an now hes paid it back so i have a bit of cash sitting round.. yea could bank it like i should but thought would throw it at the motor, dont know which way to go now.

Re: my motors back on for some more work.
Ask yourself this Andy,
How does my car go now? How much harder do I want it to go? How much crappy low end idle/horrible to drive in traffic am I prepared to except? What about how it is now am I not happy with?
Basicly, if you want it to go harder, choose a bigger cam. It might cost money, but have your head tested on a flowbench. The once you have the figures, you'll be able to choose a cam to suit your head. There is no point in choosing a cam that your head/ports aren't able to support. All you'll get is shit idle, without the max gain. What valvesprings do you have? Look at buying some nice doubles from kelfords. (They aint cheap though!) The ones they used to sell were shit, and they don't stock them anymore.
Also, there is no point in running a cam that will kick in a 5500, and howl all the way to 9500, if you're never going to rev it that hard.
Get whoever measures the flow of your head, to measure the chamber volume of your head. The you'll be able to calculate your static compression ratio. Anything else is just straight forward engine tech.
Remember the three "C"s Cam, carb(s), and compression.
