i have a factory 910 airbox, but it fouls on the fuel line, and that caused the fire last time.

it doesnt need to be specifically a vanette 1 but anything similar. i wanna fit a piece of pipe and fabricate a custom intake with a pod

why are they shit?

im pretty sure the vanette intake pipe wont fit on your carb, as your carb has a much bigger intake diameter.
it was never fitted to any other a-series vehicles.
aesthetically its not good.
what about airflow volume compared to stock airbox? just a thought.
id rather see you fit a single sidedraught carb or a downdraught weber carb, i think youd get a better result.
i think a weber 32/36 from a ford 2L would be a good upgrade, and could be quite affordable.
i think all the effort involved fitting the pod setup wont be worth it. unless you do it on maximum cheapness for experimentation, then go hard!

ive got twin SU carbs here that i may fit. im not doing it to gain any more performance, im just not a massive fan of having no filter on the engine like i used to
