The guy who has put it back together is a good mate of mine and he has done a great job although the basics were already there. It certainly is one of the nicest 1200 coupes you will find and goes rather well. It is only for sale as it is too nice to turn in to a rally car!

I'd buy it myself if I had the room to store it and didn't have 2 toys already.

I tried to swap him for my sedan this afternoon - was a no go... :(

I love this car, Flauskis original build thread on this, got me psyched to do all the recent work I have done on my coupe as far as the neatness of all the front end etc etc

He's a bit ambitious with his comments: "Seller Comment: I don't see a problem getting the WOF nothing has been modifided. Seats are original mounts. There hasn't been any creative engineering done. Just an exchange of componets."

Dropping in a bigger motor (more than 20% power increase), and adjustable height coilovers definitely need to be certified. And I suspect fitting different struts, brakes, and steering/suspension arms would also require cert.

Carjam has some troubling info tho, it was on exemption, but that expired and its dereg. So with the mods, its going to need a re-vin and lvv cert.

Not trying to stir, its a cool car and well worth the effort by all means.
