1600 Bonnet - Boot - Full Rubber Kit - Front Sump Setup

Post by gingofthesouth »

Soo looking for a mint bonnet (as mine has a scoop in it),
Maybe a mint boot at the right price (Mine is fixable but if you have one in mint condition already at the right price :P)

A Full rubber kit with weather strips, felting, bump stops etc

I also want to fit my fj20et into my 1600
So if you have a reversed cross member and modified swaybar etc tell me how muchy too please. Will be looking to purchase within the next couple weeks all these items.

I called him. he only has one weather strip for each door and a boot weather lace.

I need the full kit. I just called rare spares in CHCH and they can do the kit for $1250.

So unless I can get all the extras for plus those bits from Mark for less I will just be getting the whole kit.

Also after an fj20et loom which I will cut the plugs off and rewire into a link.

Hey dude just a heads up heard that the rarespares kit is not a very good fit, datsport one would be a better idea

You can get engine fitting kits out of OZ (datsport, and maybe maddat too) if you want to spend the extra coin? Although if you're prepared to go to that kind of outlay, you may as well do an RCA kit at the same time.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

I got a both windscreen/all door rubber kit for my 1200 out of Taiwan (a 1600 4dr kit was given to me by mistake as well!) and I payed around $100 NZ landed.

Taiwan supply most of the places in Oz, definately rarespares cause they keep them in the same bags as sent from Taiwan

I used the new windscreen rubber in the 1200 coupe before I sold it. I was told by professional that installed it that the quality of the rubber was better than most aftermarket kits he had seen.

BUT When I looked at my old 1200 coupe recently there were some nasty cracks in the windscreen rubber around the corners. Don't know what happened there.
