Was working till late on the car a few nights this week, had to sand all that lovely durapox primer back, just to ensure the underseal grabbed to all surfaces perfectly.

Underseal was applied yesterday, and had all my various suspension and drivetrain components prepped and gloss blacked

So I had the afternoon off work to spend on the car today, got the front end fitted, and back end underway, Hoping to have down on its wheels in the morning (just have to bolt in my diff assembly) will bring home if I have time before I head away to Twizel with my family for the weekend (South Canterbury Anniversary weekend)

Pretty stoked with how everything is looking, glad I have done things the way I have and got to the extra effort and expense of doing the suspension and components to the level of detail I have.

Underseal gunged on nice and thick

Beautifully painted diff, (panel beated) fuel tank, and bits

Got the front end all in and greased up, left one of my wheel bearings at home, so only one wheel fitted

New shock setup, looking clean and tidy (note my new bumpsteers)
Image

New reset rear leaf springs (with extra leaf) new noalthanes etc
Image

Guard loosely fitted, ride height should be perfect once it is preloaded

Starting to resemble a car again

Very jealous dude. Will be looking to do up my 1200 sedan to the same level once I've had some fun and enjoyed it some. Great example and something for everyone to strive for! Bet YOU'RE fizzing :P

Just spent an hour or so this morning fitting up the diff.
Stoked with height and clearance to flared guards.
it is sagging under weight of the diff assembly, so once it is sitting on the ground
I imagine it will reduce guard clearance by a good 25-30mm.
currently have 40mm blocks in it , so hoping to swap them out for 20-25mm ones
also looks really even from front to rear (and hopefully even stiffness too!)
