Cars out in Amberley

Years ago I went with a mate to a place out in Amberley to get some bits off a Starion and there were heaps of Datsun's out there, does anybody know the place I'm talking about and who owns them?

There were several 1600s and I had a look at a maroon 240Z and a t top 280ZX. Don't really know how to make Googlemaps work but here's a link to the place.

Most of the Datsun's were down the narrow strip so you probably won't be able to see much from the road.

If anybody goes out there don't be disappointed, it was a good 5+ years ago I was out there last. The guy that had the Starion didn't live there he was just storing some cars there and he didn't speak very highly of the guy(s) that owned the Datsun's. From memory he said they won't sell anything.

The 240Z was under cover just in front of the dividing tree line, pretty sure he said that the guys bought it from up north somewhere but when it arrived it had heaps of rust in the front of the chassis rails or something like that.

If somebody does go out there and have a look around let me know what you find.

I've been doing a bit more research and I'm 99% sure this is the guy that had the Starion, and the Bluebird in the picture is probably at the same place. It might be a way to get out there and have a look if somebody wants to go down that path.

Sorry to keep posting about this but I keep remember things. I remember opening the bonnet on an old car that I'm pretty sure was badged a Prince, it may have been a Gloria or similar? I'm pretty sure it had a G series engine.

Ah hell, I'll ask the guy with the Bluebird and see what he knows.

I'm pretty sure that's my mate from schools place. Think his parents own the land remember going out there a few years back quite a few datsuns but have heard there not keen on selling anything
