Re: Kitchs 1200 Coupe - VROOM VROOM!!!!.....
Cheers guys.
long way to go yet, but I have it all mapped out.
As always, its just a case of time and money.
Will feel a lot better once I get motor cranked up on EFI.... will feel like I have some real progress then.

Re: Kitchs 1200 Coupe - VROOM VROOM!!!!.....
well I have worked on car the last 4 nights in a row....
trying to get some momentum going.....
I got under the car and remade the rear main hard brake line.
was a bit fiddly but I did a better job than my original one that I had damaged.
I then ditched my ugly galvanized cheap arse saddle clamps, and
replaced brackets with nice red anodized two piece clamps I got from Ebay UK.
Much happier now with how these look and far stronger, as M4 CSK screws bolt
throught he floor and have nylock backing nuts.
I have finished my new tank drawoff and pre-filter, I am just waiting on
some new hose end finishers the right size to do my braided hoses between
tank / pump and new hard lines.
I have also fitted my new gearbox X-member mount, and made brackets etc
to fit coil, vacuum manifold and catch tank mounted in the engine bay.
I felt like seeing the car on the floor again, so once I finished the hardlines tonight,
I fitted up gearbox and put wheels on and rolled it outside for a photo
My boy Will helped me with pushing car out garage, he has been wearing
the new Datsun Hoody since he got home from school too!
On the purchasing front, I got some Ebay fever and brought new door and windscreen rubbers
out of Australia, new skuttle vents/grills, also brought some silicon hoses, a Headlight relay
upgrade kit to beef up my lighting circuit for imminent H4 upgrade.
probably other stuff too that I have forgotten about.

yeah phils rotary - aftermarket type vents.
Mine are mint but a couple of cracks around the screw holes, and couple of layers of paint in them.
be interesting to see quality of the repro ones
