True, i got all my l18e gear pretty cheep from there aswell, think i'll give them a ring in the mourning

right staparts = nothing, said they've never had them and they're to old anyway

Umm don't L16/L24 pistons use a smaller bore size?

What size engine are you going with?
I tried hunting round for some flat top L18 pistons ages ago but couldn't find any so decided to keep what i have and up the compression with a T25 instead,

Lange I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to check to confirm, but they rebored my L24 said they'd put 180b slugs in it, but the boxes said 4G63, Shhhh, don't tell anyone. Might be worth a look.

They would be 2mm oversize though yea?? were they still a completly flat top?

l16 engine, so am after the standard flat top pistons that came in the l16sss and l24

Aaron pillaged his mint 240K engine for Rods, so Pistons should be spare somewhere?

update, been calling in to the paint shop every week, they've made progress but going to be a while yet

So carring on building the engine instead. Picked up my head about two weeks ago now and came up pretty good, they said the ports were all good too. Started re-asembling it but still waiting for my cam and valve springs from kelfords, and also forgot how the valve spring seats go together like ha, i'll figure it out though.

Ended up ordering a new set of z16 pistons pins and rings because sta parts had a set on the shelf and they were a good price, they have a raised top but then four wee valve cut outs, should still run the same compression though. 030 oversize so its boring time
Striped my complete l16 down and found no more damage, going to drop it off for boring, acid dipping and a deck next time i'm down in invers. Have also put an order in for some goddies from datsport for the moter will put pics up when they turn up.

Also my new s110 i picked up, turns out its waay to good to wreck haha, twin spark z20e which i've had one go at getting going but it's probley only got one wee fault somewhere stopping it.

Noticed it had one of the real old wof stickers on it, so checked the spedo and wow only 65000km, and these spedos go to 1million km.
