so weve got friends stayin and she's just gone out and filled up the oil fill with six litres of water on her commodore can any one tell me will that just need emptying and refilling with oil or is it not that simple??

I'd drain all the oil out, and change the filter.
Then add new oil, (to at least just above the add mark on the dipstick) and run it up to temp with an oil flush added as well. Then drain the oil and and whack on a new filter. Refill with new oil. That should get rid of 99% of the water.

Cheers for that she,.sn freezing its 2009 .sv6 she,s only had for a month lol can't believe she put 6 litres in it.

Jesus wept.......
After the second oil change, run it up to temp again, and check the state of the oil on the dipstick. If it's still milky, repeat process.
