info on chipping a CA18ET...

Post by skutaman »

Hey guys, a mate of mine scored himself a 84' nissan S12 factory turbo.
He's wanting to chip the ecu (hes been doing loads of them for RB's all over the top of the south)
He just can't find any info on how to jump a few bits to get a 28pin eprom in to the board.
its got a 24pin in atm, but has the factory holes in the board for a 28.

Has anyone had a play with these before? (or know of someone that has...)

this is a pic of the ecu sticker

He's pretty sure, through what he has found out, that it is a series one ecu?

Any help would be awesome guys

Na I've never looked at the single cam ecus before. It would be easier for him to convert to running a ca18det ecu

If hes making money from this and it sounds like he is, I would be dubious giving him information
