Datsun 1500 1979 Ute Parts

I have recenty purchased a 1979 Datsun Ute which is in dire need if some love. It has some rust on the chassis and in order to become road worthy needs both a new chassis and floor in the cab. Does anybody have any information on where I can get these and the potential costs.

I'd be very suprised if the chassis was so rusty that you couldn't take the cab off the chassis, grind it back as repaint it.
How bad is the rust in the floor of the cab?

I suppose that would be a better alternative, worth a shot. Floor is almost to the point of having a flintstone effect, its in a pretty bad state.

I'd also be keen on a wellside, not fussed on the colour.

Well sides are like rocking horse shit.
I have one for my 620, but it's gonna need at least half a grand in rust work before it's even remotely fit to reuse.
Someone was importing reproduction ones, but I don't know who.
Maybe ask "Sparkle"? He has one on his badboy 620.

Haha might keep it original then, just give 'em a bit of a sand and repaint and keep it a flat deck. Cheers anyway

the wellsides on my old datsun ute are alright just need a couple of handles they dodgey. You may be interested in the whole ute chasis okay.
