Parts list from doing mine

R30 companion flanges (small spline suit 1600 otherwise you need some stubs axles and different bearings to suit from a large spline r31 vehicle

Outer cv flanges to suit these ( mine are 280zx ones I think , i have a spare pair if needed)

Long nose r200

Short nose LSD unit

Inner cv s to suit this LSD unit mine are s14 I think

The shafts will have to be shortened to suit the 1600 at about the height your going to run it and respined to suit you router cv joint

The long nose r200 will need the square flange and matching driveshaft uni otherwise it does not fit though the 1600 crossmember

And a small massage to the crossmember to make it fit

didn't Shannon (PL510) have a complete rear subframe for sale a while ago?
TBH, I think you've got a better chance of finding all the bits seperately.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Do you know what diff centre you're going to use? If you use a CLSD then apparently you can use open R200 shafts, if you use a viscous then you need the VLSD shafts, as one side is longer to engage the LSD centre.

It's not hard to find the parts if you know what to look for. I'm going to use a R200 and axles I pulled out of my turbo C32 Laurel parts car. This is a open diff which has the "plug in" style CV axles that go straight into the diff with no flanges (so I can't use a VLSD, but I want a clutch diff anyway and I'm happy to wait until I find one), at the other end of the axles they are the 3x2 pattern. For companion flanges I'm going to either use the C32 ones or my HR30 ones which I got for free, thanks Brocky!.

So if you are prepared to wait and look under the backs of cars it can be done quite cheaply.

The R180 fits in a LOT easier, pretty sure they can fit the standard moustache bar and don't require crossmember modifications, it's just really hard to find a decent R180 LSD.

Hmm. Maybe the r180 is a better option. I'd like a clutch type LSD ideally . I can get a brand new 2 way r180 LSD center for a grand . What mods are involved with r180? Custom axels ect?

Axles and flanges, possibly re-drill input shaft flange. You could buy a R200 CLSD centre for about that much though too. Actually if you know where to look, some Subaru STi models have R180 diffs, some are mechanical (think the V3 ones maybe?) if you can get one of those you might be able to get it with the Subaru "plug-in" inner CV's to suit then have them shortend and splined to suit Nissan outer CV's and companion flanges.

A brand new 1? I could really make this easier and buy a car already fitted with an r200 setup

I'm helping a mate with an R200 conversion at the moment and he has a clutch type R180 he may sell for the right price. you'll still be using the universal joint axles though unless you went through the CV conversion process again
