b210 3 inch lowering blocks
does anyone have a set of these lying around that they would be willing to sell? cheers
Re: b210 3 inch lowering blocks
just an FYI, I'm 99% sure you cannot legally use 3" blocks. I think it used to be possible to cert them however I think this may have changed (you had to have axle tramp bars as well).
Also big blocks are just stupid when you think about the forces involved. perhaps just keep your 2" blocks and get the leaves reset 1" lower?

Beaver is dead right.
50mm max allowed.
Go talk to Belemy and east in Falsgrave street.
You'll need to know the width of your rear leaves, and the diameter of the dowel which keeps the diff spring pad located onto the leaves.
And maybe take an old U bolt with you too.
They can then make you a pair of blocks, and some new longer U bolts.
I was quoted $112+gst just last week.
Really good guys to deal with too.
Or you could have your leaves reset. If you do this, have the spring eyes reversed too. Helps keep the semi eliptical shape of the leaves in tact. Which allows them to work properly, and helps them keep your tyres on the road.
Belemy and East can do that too.

Look at your springs side on.
The eyes are on top.
Have them reset, so that the eyes are underneath the semi ellipse.
That way you get nice and low, but you keep the semi eliptical shape.
Otherwise, you can wind up with a spring pack which is flat. Flat springs are shit. I used to have flat springs, and I had major traction issues. Any load on the tyres, and they just spun. Especially in corners.
