So I brought it,  well had to really lol. Well I explained to the misses that "its got all mines missing and what it's missing i have".
So now I have 2, 1200 Sedans yepee and my old coupe is still in the old mans shed, although on longer mine it may soon enough have to be brought back ;)
A few more photos

So plans have changed slightly and my massive spend up has somewhat been placed on a short hold, although I will be ordering a electric water pump, adjustable cam gear and APR bolts for my race engine later today :D . Saturday I will be headding up to Auckland to pick up my new toy.

Watch this space..........

Good buying alright. The cage will need a bit of work to get it homologated but still looks like a good car for the money.

Yea I was amazed it didn't go for more, rapped really. I am still trying to get the old man to search for an old set of Dellortos i believe, I think, I should have in his shed. Cannot remember if I sold them in another car years ago or if i sold it with 35's in it. If we find them I may have 1 of 3 sets that i could sell.
I pick it up this Saturday and will then find out all the little things it needs to take racing. We have a pretty good club here in NP and look forward to thrashing the bejuesus out of it :D
I heard that the cage most probably need a new hoop, bit of a bummer but hey its a good starting point with many of the bits i would have had to fit to mine to take racing.
Ordered some goodies yesterday for my new engine and a Davies Craig water pump and controller for this one.

Misses reckons I will need to sell the other one :o think i'll put 15k on it  and tell her the market is bad at the moment :D

Well Did the run up to Aucks, Whats better than a Datto in ya Shed? 2 Dattos in ya shed :Jelly:

Few little changes,
Rear spoiler was off before I even got it off the trailer
Blew out a few of the jets in the carbs gave the motor a quick check over, warmed it up and took it out for a right canning :D on a private road of cause
Makes a lot of noise, goes OK but my old A12 had more punch although that was a little screamer. I'm happy and that's alright I didn't buy it for the engine although it will go well in the road car 8-)
Did a few Doughys with the kids around one of the trees then gave it a wash

Put it back in the shed and put the front spoiler on it for a looksy

Next is to sort out the cage and get it up on stands and go through it all. Fit the RCA blocks in the front and put the bigger swaybar in the front.

I would try Proparts Napier first. (Craig is am absolute legend, and he looks after datsun blokes. (And bloke-ettes too)
Failing that, perhaps Palmside automotove. They do a lot of stuff for sidedrafts.
