Hi, i havent posted here before, took a while to even figure out how to! (computer retard).
Anyhow, thought i could start with my winter project, she,s a 84 1200 ute running an A14 and now has a five speed fitted.
As the Datto,s go, i brought her for a daily run around, i got bored and had wheels to fit on something. She was worse than thought, dodgy wiring, bad workmanship everywhere so have done a quick 6 month rebuild, new suspension, steering, under body treating, new exhaust, new interior and got everything working. She,s not mint but is my daily so good enough for now.
The 1600,s are my disease but have always liked the road stars (had to put the wheels on something)
Will add a couple of pic,s to see what ya,s think.
Cheers,
Lance

Re: Datsun 1200 ute
Very nice Lance, I love the stance and the colour. Wheels look good too. That Front spoiler would last about a block here in ChCh, but looks good. Great daily.
How bad do you have the 1600 Disease?
Great to have you aboard, pleased you sussed it out, I look forward to reading of your adventures with your Yellow 1200 (Would be awesome to see it at a Nationals Cruise) and more about your 1600 'disease'

Ha Ha, yeah the front is a grader blade, but i wouldnt have it any other way.
The 1600,s have been a long standing disease, i think herpes would be easier to get rid of!
The circuit car will hopefully be back on track this coming season, cant wait!
The 1600sss turbo road car is having some changes(again), she was my first child, and the most difficult!
Rally car has been put into storage, donating its twin dellortos to go onto the 1200 ute. Two race cars are bad news for the wallet, and already need a bigger garage!

I am not suggesting that you share, like you would Herpies, but I would be keen on a thread or two for the 510s, There are a few on here who have it bad for 1600s and will really appreciate it. Sounds like a very interesting Stable you have there.
