Re: We need your feedback!!!!!
From Wellington
Drive a bunch of shit but soon to be 510 and R32 GTR
1. Weekend or day events?
Single day events are better.
2. For day events, are full day or half day events better?
Depends on the event, but 11 - 5pm is good. Back for kids stuff.
3. Is there any interest in night events?
Night drags would be awesome!
4. Casual cruises or Motorsport? Motokhana/ Trackdays/ Drag racing
Motorsport over casual cruise. Track days and drags!
5. Any destinations people would like to go to? New places or even roads to be driven?
6. Hard parks or lots of driving?
Hard parks if combined with other classics. Club v Club park ups.
7. What days suit better? Saturday/Sunday/ Friday afternoon? All weekend?
Sunday since Saturday is kids sport day.
8. Anything else you want to see from the club? Any ideas?

Re: We need your feedback!!!!!
Not sure if your asking more what South Island people like or anyone in general but here goes, this is simply my opinions, not looking at it from a “what is best for everyone/ the club” viewpoint
Where are you from? Waikato
What do you drive? 1200 sedan and nissan President
1. Weekend or day events?
Usually day events work better, but if there is going to be combined north and south event a weekend event would the go.
:
2. For day events, are full day or half day events better?
Day events are good, Half day would be good too
:
3. Is there any interest in night events?
Have to travel to get to any events so probably not for me
:
4. Casual cruises or Motorsport? Motokhana/ Trackdays/ Drag racing
Quite like the casual cruises. Trackdays and drags- don’t really see much point for myself, would watch as part of a bigger
event like nationals etc I don’t have much spare cash to repair a blown motor or smashed up panels and windows
:
5. Any destinations people would like to go to? New places or even roads to be driven?
Taranaki or bop would be awesome drives, I don’t know much about lower north island but would be keen to head down if
Something was on.
:
6. Hard parks or lots of driving?
Cruises seem to be paced about right with enough stops, too much driving can get painful. But being parked all day is not
something I would be into.
:
7. What days suit better? Saturday/Sunday/ Friday afternoon? All weekend?
Saturday or Sunday unless long weekend
:
8. Anything else you want to see from the club? Any ideas?
I have only got involved in the last couple of years but even in that time I’ve noticed people turn up to events to
check out the cars that are working on there own Datsun. It kind of got me thinking of couple of things, first- it seems half
half the cars around must be projects at any given time and second- my own start here, I mean if you
haven’t got a running legal vehicle there seems no way to get involved with the club except perhaps through here or
Facebook ( if your into that sort of thing) and it is definitely hard to turn up to your first event not knowing anyone. I was
wondering if maybe a shed vist kind of thing would be a way to provide introductions and support/motivation if they were
keen to. This would be a good smaller night or half day kind of event I guess. It seems like Datsun repairers have a habit of
disappearing into cracks if left unchecked. Brocky mentioned elsewhere about joining in on other car club events, sounds
like a good idea.
Thanks to all who put their time into these events
Also gingeofthesouth your 510 is freaking awesome, tell us more about this R32 gtr
