from memory i think you use the L28 crank, L20 rods and pistons depending on the size of your cylinder bore diameter.

i could be wrong, so dont take this as gospel. i will be expensive, but very cool, original and fucking awesome in the ways of old school JDMness

Have a real good squiz at http://www.hybridz.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A L31 will cost a lot of $$$. Probably cheaper to build a turbo L28.

bugger swapping to a rack in my opinion. i an sticking with the box and would only change if it crapped out

True, i just dont like the feel of the sloppy box :violin: .

As for doing the subframe swap i had a close look under her big ass today and no mount point for subframe so maybe some cutting/welding/drilling involved as i ain't keeping that dirty rear diff.

fair enough mate, have you thought about maybe using a solid rear axle from an R31 skyline? pretty solid diff with factory disc brakes. may be worth a look

Hmmm yeah maybe if i could not manage to swap to a IRS, only reason i really want to go that way as there is a lot more adjustment. Really i need to see the underside of a IRS C31 to go from there.
