Rally and Drag have different needs with tire compared to a street car tho Bart so can really compare with those cars.

They have there place on some cars. Your datto prob wouldnt suit the look of stretched tires due to your rim choice and your ride height

Once ive learnt to drive my wagon ill be goin stretch then lower it some more

the stretched look is just another way to modify your car, same as fitting a body kit/spoiler or whatever to improve the looks. personally i wouldnt go to stretched as its not exactly safe. the main reason the japs stretch so much is to fit the bloody wheels under the gaurds as the cars are SO low

This is true. Rez' cherry is unlikely to experience traction problems. At least in the short term anyway.

MY 155s are stretched to 135s its great for losing traction. I was going to put the 155s on a 13 by 8 but it was only a 13 by 7 so i sent it back. If people can drift with insanely strectched tyres i dont think for road use they will be dangerous. All boso cars seem to do is doeys and their tyres dont seem to pop off or anything.

Iv only seen one can in nz with them on it, properly stretched that is, so not sure as long as the treads in the guards should be gravy. With 7 inch wheels though unless you put a 135 or something on it they arnt wide enough for illegal strech anyway. You should go for 175 50 13s they are mean tyres and you could lower your car more once they are on.
