Took the beast to the panel beaters last week for some time on the chasis plant, and as I suspected the front was out by approx 10mm, its also having some rust cut out from the strut towers, left rear gard and gutter (roof channel).
Decided to tow it, was a bit of a laugh as first time rolling in 12 years, but was a good chance to check breaks and wheel clearance ......all good. I live on a hill so a good push with me steering got it to the bottom. Heres some pics..........

After a bit of time off from the datsun I,ve got back into it a started to get some paint on, theres also a thred going on 1200.com under two tone paint job, but here are the latest pics.

Hey thanks, was,nt going to do the strips over the roof and down the back....but in the end I thought what the hell...

exactly, i like it as it breaks up what is a pretty out there colour. plans for the rest of it?

Plans for the paint job?....are doors green/ black around windows, I might do vertical strips on the front gards. Once it painted, i,ll get get it started as it has a fresh a15 in it ready to go...and hopfully get a wof and start driving it.....

I cant beleave after what seams like a life time of sanding masking and painting that i,ve got all back together and painted......

Different but awesome, I am particularly like stripes down the guards they look awesome.
