Hi Guys!

a bit of an update, got the car home and havent really done a dam thing with it
but thats cause i was busy with work and life, you know how it is

But from next week I am going to get around to fixing some odds and ends (like the steering that has about half a turn of play, the brakes that are uhmmm, not there :) - and the massive blown out turbo gasket leak)

But I was wondering if anyone knew what diff this was or if i am just daft and its the original :)

have a look at the photos of the diff and let me know, and i also included a more recent of shot of her home, covered in dust :)

Thanks so much for the compliments guys.

Yes she launches really really hard, previous owner used to run in the 12's at the drag strip with her and even dipped into the 11's with NOS.
I am no about to prep her to race 1/4 mile again while still be street able and able to go around corners at decent speeds.

i"ll be upgrading the turbo, building a race head with 270 cams etc, upgrading the rear suspension setup a bit etc..

here are a couple vids of the previous owners new 1200 UTE (i dont condone or participate in the street races, but we have not had a track for about 5 years so things got bad, but we have a new one opening by year end.)

I got a pretty nasty spider bite a few weeks ago that has stopped me from working on the car, but I'll be wrenching again in the garage from next week, gotta install a 910 sway bar and change the seals on the diff, replace the clutch/flywheel combo and get the drive shaft balanced again/sorted (lots of vibration - may be the clutch etc)

will keep ya updated and got some questions to ask as i go along.. thanks again
