Okay, got my driveshaft hoop in last night, it just clears lucky I've got independant suspension so my driveshaft won't move up or down. Also got my seats back in.
Went to put my *new* (second hand) washer bottle in only to find out that it doesn't have the pump on it. Bugger. Oh well will have to find another one.

Went for a cert last thursday, only need a few things to get it all legal

- two tyres (front right, rear left)
- brackets to hold rear brake hoses
- replace one rear brake hose
- adjust handbrake
- tighten up bolts on r/h rear halfshaft

From memory I think that is it. The cert guy in Rotorua (Dean Longhurst) seemed like a pretty good guy for the record.
Really cool that he was happy with how everything had been put together

Hopefully I can sort this car out over the next couple of weeks and start driving it every day

That's the plan

- Brackets made, should be welded in tomorrow
- Got hose, will put in after brackets
- Handbrake adjusted
- Bolts tightened

So hopefully should get everything done by the end of the weekend.

Should have everything done for the cert tonight, and it is going over to Rotorua tomorrow to get re-checked

So now it is just the count down to the Akaroa cruise I decided to make a list of everything I need to do before then:

- Get cert
- Take engine/gearbox/radiator/etc out and prep and paint engine bay. Then put everything back in again.
- Probably put in my new Brake Master Cylinder, as the old one is looking kinda sad. Must remember to swap the rear check valve across from my old one.
- Sand back a few bubbled areas to investigate rust, also remove from windscreen to investigate and find annoying leak *drip* ... *drip*
- Take to panelbeater's to get rusty bits cut out and new metal put in.
- Take out front struts and rear suspension and lower it a bit.
- Prep and paint exterior.
- Put everything back together.
- Have a beer.

I made up a plan on a wallplanner the other day, and if everything progresses fairly smoothly I should have between 2 - 4 weeks spare before Akaroa after getting all this done. Will probably be a few late nights but should be worth it. Have Alessandra's wagon as back-up transport to Christchurch if for some reason something goes wrong.
