thats not that white one thats from auckland that was on trade me for $1 researve was it? think he got it for $500 but cost him another $500 to get here. it was brought by a guy whos name escapes me atm but he soon sold it on.

sounds like a cool project. I had a 1600 rally car, it was a pretty rough old girl but was neat to drive it handled quite nice. but it was so rooted I felt like I was always working on it rather than driving it and in the end after a prolonged period of spending all my spare time working on it and pouring all my spare money into it I got the shits with it and sold it in a bit of a huffy. Sort of regret it now but when I remember how fucked it was it makes me feel a bit better. A keen young fella bought it and rebuilt it and has had some good runs in it.
Anyway go for it, they are a neat car, just a bit hard to come by some of the spares, but sunnys are heading that way too, I've still got a sunny but it just doesn't spin my wheels the same but at least it has less rust, less bog, and can still get spares (for the meantime anyway) for when I run out of talent as Bart put it (which I frequently do).
