Prob fit a 140J quite well though correct?
Im assuming this is a R31/Falcon/Commy diff (that sort for BW diff)
What is the actually width of the Diff now?

I'll have to dig it out. I can't remember off the top of my head. I'd say its more than likely going to be narrower than a 140j one but that might be a good thing to fit nice wide wheels.
I'll measure the diff width and the leaf spring spacing when I'm out there next. Give me a reminder if you haven't heard anything in a couple days!

they are a sailsbury type diff Andy. So you'd need to fit sunny mounting points to the housing. It would be do-able, but nicks diff would be pretty much overkill for any A series motor.

sounds like you just need a locked diff so you stop dumping the clutch lol

You'd never break it in 10,000 years. maybe it is what you need? A van diff will require shortening, as well as the sunny mounts welding on. And even then, you'll still be stuck with an open diff.

I would recomend what ever Damon is running. As long as ive known him he has driven that little truck hard and the diff takes what ever is thrown at it

K so measured the diff up and drum to drum it is 1280mm and the distance between leaf spring mounts is 970mm
Andy, Damon has a H165 with a torsen LSD from some dude in oz. If you get a H165 or a vannette H190 both will be strong enough but its hard to find a LSD for them and when you do they are normally big dollars.
