I myself would tend to think that $4k would be top dollar, but I wouldn't sell it for less than $3K if it were mine. Namely because I haven't seen it in person to judge it's true condition, (it's pretty hard to get a true indication from photos) And knowing what trademe is like, starting at $4k a sale might not be reached at that price straight away. While I'm in no doubt that there are numeurous people who would love to own it, few of those ranks would have cash on hand to buy it at that price. I'm sure given the significant sentimental value that this Datsun has to its current owners, they wouldn't be too upset if (when the time comes) it didn't sell for "top dollar" providing it was sold to the right person. That said, I don't think It should be given away for a song either.

The lady and her sister who own it have decided to to keep it for the time being.
