ask and you shall recieve
pics thanx to bart. we had a go at getting it to run yesterday. turned out the plug leads were fitted incorrectly, and the intercooler hoses were loose. didnt manage to get it going well enough, but will have another go on the weekend. if nothing comes from it, then i will pull the engine out, and fit the new one

Nice
I trust the "new" engine is an RB, I see the Vin Plate sights a "DOHC" Nissan engine, could make life interesting!

i think at some point its had an rb in it, but i wont be changing it. this one has an rb25 turbo, intercooler and 2.5" exhaust already fitted, so should be more than enough to keep me happy

me and bart had a play with it today in the fucking hot sun. compression came back to about 170-180 across all cylinders. so we whipped off the tappet cover and found number one exhaust rocker had fallen off. the lock nut had come loose on the tappet, which resulted in the rocker itself coming off. a few minutes later it was back on, and now the motor runs and idles. still has a bit of a miss, but hopefully some messing around with timing will fix that
SO HAPPY
