you'll need to build a custom gearbox mount for 5 speed, the bellhousings are the same and it all bolts up the same but can be very tight in the tunnel and need a lot of wiggling to get in. The main problem is where the 5 speed reverse light switch comes out of box hits on original 4 speed mounts in tunnel. Can either move mounts and re-weld, or the much easier option and cut down reverse light switch and not have reverse lights (dont need for wof). Have a look on

sweet as cheers boys as long as the front of the bellhousing doesnt rub im happy can deal with the rest later sounds like a battle idealy for a hoist too

It is. I made real mess of my undercar when I removed the factroy g/box mounts to fit in my monster gearbox. You'll wanna delete the reversing light switch from the gearbox Before you try and fit it to the car. It's a pretty tight squeeze in there.

nah just cut the top part off the drivers side mount then wen you put the 5speed in there the revarse swich tucks in above it and the mounts still there if u wanna put a 4 speed back in

got ute all primed up today after work just thought id update some photos neitha homo is me eitha by the way lol
so hopefuly paint this w.e or make some progess getting close to the cruize now

the mates dont help they just turn up and pose for photos haha
yeah trying to get this on the cruize just needs to be sanded back sealed and painted so motor can go in and be tuned
then reg and warrent which shouldnt be to hard but if its not done in time its not the end of the world as i dont get my licence back till end of may

oh ofcorse mate will be there no mater what started rubbing down the engine bay tonight should have it painted sunday so motor will get chucked in one night next week
