Re: lower ball joint?
yea iv found that most of the 310's already have the longer ball joint - pretty sure it was an update or correction part due to 1.5 degrees pos camber factory.
the difference is centre of ball joint to flange tip - either 76mm or 85mm long from memory

now shes trying to find a tyre she cant fit my 215/50/13s on the front i dont know why but they hit the strut
an so she has 195/55/13s on the front an needs a new tyre but they dont seem easy to come by now.just something 2nd hand wofable would be good something thats around the size of 195/55/13s.. anyone on here work for a tyre company an can get cheap tyres?

Re: lower ball joint?
Thats unusual. Did those wheels foul on the strut before the ball joint swap? The earlier and Later 310's had idfferent struts, so perhaps yours and hers are different. Swapping the bottom ball joint shouldn't effect the tyre to strut clearance.........
If there's cleareance on the guards, maybe try thin spacers to step the tyre away from the strut?

Re: lower ball joint?
It might not be the cheapest option for you, But if you ph 006433440145 and ask for Brock, he can sell you the ball joints you need. He also has the part number for the ones which are a little bit longer. Those give a tiny bit more negative camber that the shorter ones.
Postage might not be cheap though.
Also, FWIW those ball joints are easy to get here in NZ.
