My 2 cents.

Building one with the DET head is a big expense for not much return. Bang for buck is keeping it single cam.

In oz there are a quiet a number of vl commodores (shitboxes I know) running 10 sec quarters using the single cam RB30ET.

I say keep it NA, spend the money on the quad throttle bodies. Keeps the theme old school and very cool and the sound of the motor with a nice cam would be awesome.

Plus you'd save a fortune and have a cool car.

Like godzilladat said, The costs for a decent turbo setup adds up pretty quick,
Obviously if you kept it simple you could probably do it cheaper than the NA equivilant BUT.............. its just not going to sound as cool as the NA :)

a rb30 cant be done cheap... you need a very decent turbo to supply the nessecary air required otherwise they choke up very easily

Supercharge it!
Run two S/C14's, or one bigger blower

i sorta looked into this when DOCNZ was up and most of the replies i got said go turbo as s/c was alot more money, hassle etc, but would love to do that.

may look on the net for more info into each setup and way one up against the other.

if anyone has any info or websites let me know
