when for a fang up gebbies pass this arvo, and its all good. road is pretty much the same as it has been, but it would pay to keep yuor wheels away from the inside line of the hill, as there is the odd small boulder lying in the ditch. also may be best to take it easy over the cattle stops. they are pretty hard at speed

I'm going to try and do a recconissance mission to see for myself if that road is open. (I've got friday off work)
If it isn't, we'll just shoot down bridle path road, right dwon to martindales road. Then onto port hills road and onto the tunnel road.

Governors Bay Hotel is open, went there last weekend for a pint and lunch.
Couldnt head to Sumner from Lyttelton via the coast road, as road was closed off.
Port Hill Road closed also.

Through the Lyttelton tunnel would be cool with a dozen dattos or so...

Hmm i could be keen for a seat if someone has one spare? Maybe someone I havent jumped in with before..just to meet some knew people.

Governors bay pub is shit. it used to rule, but now it drools.

The wheatsheaf is heaps better.
