Hey man, heres all the pics I can find of when I did my disc setup.
looks like my callipers are like the ones Bart was talking about, with the bolt on/off handbrake cable setup.
Might pay to give Dan a txt, and jack the car up and take a look.
But I think swapping left to right looks like its gonna work best for your callipers

its bean a while since i had a update ....well because there hasnt bean any thing to report
well im getting Hamish to recreate the left and side flare and ive recently recieved a progress report from him
(i will do a full plug for every one thats helped me upon completation.. other wise it will get lost amongst the middle)

Looks good, with the flare, is the drivers side flare made out of metal? or is it a glass guard?
With the flare I thought it would have been easier to start with 1 piece of metal and make slits then bend to shape of the flare and braze together (judging by those rust repair sections the guy clearly knows what he's doing).

yea the other side is metal also...
and i wouldve thought the same as you in reguards to the frabrication to the guard.
(thats how me and a mate made the flares on his AE86)
but i think he went this method so he can get a excate copy of the other side using the jig hes made up.. other wise it would be a "eye" up
