I'm wondering if there are some good Garages in the red Zone without houses to start stashing these treasures in. Secure undercover, dry and away from prying eyes, (Like the wife's and thus awkward questions that follow).

@ Vaughn, would advise against that idea, because they're away from prying eyes with no-one around they're frequented by theifs. Mums old place in the red zone, we lock the garage door and every couple of weeks you drive by to find it wide open..

Damn straight.
Someone stole the garage door opener from dads old house. Then some other brain donors kicked in the french doors to get in and steal the Hot water cylinder even the though the garage door was wide open. (Internal access garage)
