Looking good - great to see you dont have too much rust under the rear seat - ive been told they can be very bad there.

13B Turbo is all good. Ive seen / heard from Dad alot of problems with Series 4/5 engines as he's a mechanic for an old Mazda dealer and they were always fixing other peoples cock ups with them.

With a decent rebuild with Quality/Genuine parts you should see at least 400hp - which after being in dan1200sss CA18det 1600 with less HP, gets the sweats on pretty quick. :burnout: :burnout:

Looks like a very solid shell indeed - they usually get VERY rusty around those drain holes in the L-shaped area under the rear seat, so make sure you paint some really good rustproofing stuff there - I think rusty rear seat springs seem to encourage rust in that area.
gotta get the body finished first and get the R31 Skyline rearend in with vicious lsd diff
Don't let it bite you!

The worst rust is around where the aircon pipes came through, in where the hinges for the bonnet are. And a bit i have to cut out from the floor pan by each kickpanel. Coulde be worse!

Il have to start looking into these rear ends more. Which ones gonna be the easies fit

I think someone would have been telling you to use a r 31 rear disc brake setup.....not the whole rear end.....our just the diff.
There's no need to use the trailing arms or subframe.
