for best results(through personal experiance) when dealing with big corperations, cc as many directors,managers ,people in power etc as possible, we did this when dealing with an issue with a bank, got on thier website and cc,d our complaint to every available e-mail address that they had listed. Had the name of the person that we were complaining about and the complaint.
that message had a page load of addresses attatched to it and everyone of those people at the bank got a copy of our complaint about the person at the centre of the issue, we had our issue resolved, by 9.30 am on the monday, e-mail was sent 10.30 sunday night.

also it would not hurt to draught a copy of your compaint, the facts of how it affects our industry etc, and post it on every car site ,car club forum in chch , so that we can all down load said draught and personally e-mail copys to our local members of parliment, and maybe get someone higher up the food chain to stop this foolishness. There is a politition here in Tauranga who holds the transport sector portfolio, will take some time to look him up and quiz him on the ins and outs of this situation.
