front shocks info wtd plse,shortened strut housings?

I mite take u up on that offer if thats cool with u Vaughan, if u think it wud be sweet jst to run sum new oil in the strut and fit a spacer, i assume the spacer wud go inside the strut housing at a geuss? Iv never messed with or opened a strut b4. ______________________________________________________________________________ Autolign said it wud cost $300 to shorten the strut housing and fit a new nut and another $300 for the VW Golf shock insert, and id still have to get the VW insert shock rod shortened after to keep the spring captive, But it wud gimme alot more travel than jst 25mm . Thats gttn pretty steep as im payn $300 for the custom spring already, not to mention the $80 i paid to get the original spring compressed, pluss gttn wheel allignment after all that too, GRRRRRRRR i hate money
