This is really exciting me and I know I won't even be able to make it. Second time in a year that we will have cruises happening simultaneously in the North and South Islands, and these two are going to be quite long :burnout:

We are going to be staying here for the weekend http://www.thesurreyhotel.co.nz/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; its in Grey Lynn so not to far away.

Won't be coming on the cruise but at this stage definitely planning on catching up with you northern lot at some stage over the weekend.

No occasion, just the place the wife chose. Coming up to catch up with a few friends, haven't been up for a couple of years.

Anyone mind a couple rotary powerd Datsun shown up my flatmates jst dropped a 12a in his 120y and a run in cruz to Auckland sounds like a plan and mines all wof d up ready for a convoy

Well two weeks to go!!!!! So the plan as we have worked it out is as follows please feel free to add or suggest any ideas or changes
We will leave Hastings about 9am on Sat the 1st of June
Arrive Taupo by 11am and grab some lunch
Leave Taupo by 12pm
If there is anyone joining as long the path let us know we will prob go Taupo to Hamilton then on to Auckland
Arrive Avondale Motor park AKA Auckland Kiwi Camp by 5pm
Will suss out something to do for dinner with people that are there
Sunday morn met up at Auckland Kiwi Camp about 10am (46 Bollard Ave Avondale)
Leave about 11am
Arrive Halletau Brewery 11.30-12.00pm Have lunch and a beer (1171 Coatsville-Riverhead Highway Auckland)
Leave 1.30-2pm for Muriwai Beach (weather dependant)
Arrive by 3pm hang out for as long as wanted
Head back to the Auckland Kiwi Camp to arrive by 5pm for a BBQ and a couple of drinks around 6-6.30pm Bring something for the BBQ and your drink of choice
Shane is keen for a cruise down Queen street and maybe misson bay either Sat night or Sun night if any are keen <--let us no who if any is keen for what night on this venture
Monday make your way home!!!!
