As I said I believe CA powered 910s are reasonably rare here, maybe more common in Oz? I don't know what else came with a rear drive CA series engine other than S13s and maybe some Skylines? I think I've seen a factory CA powered R32 at some point, but maybe some rare R30s and R31s?

You should be able to use a bellhousing from an S13 gearbox (which is a C series box) but depending on exactly what gearbox you have (if it's a B or C series box) you might have to change the front countershaft bearing and possibly bush one of the shifter holes. If the 910 Bluebirds had B series boxes (which I'm guessing they do) and you have a B series Navara gearbox then the bellhousing should bolt straight on, I have heard of some petrol Navara boxes having the bigger countershaft bearing, I think they changed it sometime in the early to mid 80s.

Why not just use the gearbox off a CA18 in the first place?? Would save a lot of hassle trying to track down parts that may not even work....

I concur.
What are you going to do with the Ca18det gearbox sans bellhousing?

I'm assuming he needs a stubby (short) gearbox for whatever he is doing?

That would have to be the only reason you'd persevere with a clunky old "B" series box. TBH, it's not the end of the world to move the shifter back on a sunny. I used a long 63 in a KB310 once.
