yes you will, and most likely have to narrow it down

some Aussie guy reckoned that the 620 isn't too much wider than a 1200. need a PCD redrill though.

Luke,
You could go down the Mk 1 Cortina route ( as I have )
Slightly wider than the H145/65 but would be fine in the coupe.
For;
Stronger than an H165
Full choice of ratios from 3.5, 3.75. 3.9, 4.1, 4.4, 4.9, 5.1 and 5.3
LSD units are CHEAP ( brand new and readily available from Palmside )
Worst case scenario if you snap an axle is spend $500 odd and put in a brand new Quaiffe ( again readily available from Palmside )
Bigger rear brakes ( 9" Escort Sport rear drum bolts staight on and these are a doulbe acting wheel cylinder and are self adjusting )
Against:
You need to get the Datsun platforms welded on to the Ford diff.
Drive shaft needs to be shortened ( but you will need to do that putting the H165 into the Coupe )
Stub axle pattern needs to be changed to Datsun ( no big deal )
Handbrake cables need reworking ( bit fiddly )
Trying to find a complete diff housing.
Cheers
Dave
