Im trying to find out if it has live rego or not.....talked to the guy, and hes lost the plates, and thinks its on hold, but not sure.

I cant use carjam.....cause I dont know the plate number.....and It has no VIN.....only a chassis number (like most datsuns), but carjam cant use those

it must have an old wof sticker of rego label he can give you the rego number off?

He sounded very un-interested in talking about anything about it......he just said that he only wants $450, and if I want it, thats what it costs. Its sitting in a caryard at the moment on moorhouse ave, so guess he doesnt know anything about it.....prob a trade-in or something

at that price you should just grab it then put it through vtnz for a re-vin

I was looking at this myself, but checked his other auctions and he has a honda that hes selling, and recons he can get a professional paint job done on it for $350 cash, so automatically thought the guy is FULL OF SHIT,

alright......went down and got a couple pics of it, and tried to find a rego number on the windscreen, or if it was etched into any of the windows.
and couldnt find out anything usefull.
got a couple pics of the front tho.....was some dude living in his bus that noticed me checking out the car (at 9.30pm)....so didnt hang around long lol.
windows had a bit of paint on them e.t.c.......still like it, but a little unsure if its a good buy or not

Basically if you don't have proof of registration in NZ before it is a right pain in the ass to get it revinned.
Tell him you'll give him $500 if he can proof the rego is on hold, maybe an extra 50 dollars will spark a bit of interest in finding out whether its rego'd or not.........
