sprayed them today, just out of curiosity when the seats are hot they dont become sticky do they

used stuff in a can called wax off or something, used a decent coat

thinners or even petrol may have been better or a wash with warm soapy water.

In the past anything I've painted that has had amourall (or the like) on it has had wax reaction and gone all fish-eye'd. If you seats are mint at their age, it's almost certain they had been protected. I wouldn't use petrol on vinyal, there would be heavy end additves that would have left a paint unfriendly residue.
