Not a stupid idea. Main reason for having it on labour weekend is so we have a three day weekend for those that are travelling. A track day sounds like a good idea and can be apart of the consideration as to where we hold the event. Lots of possibilities but we will definitely need commitment on booking tracks etc. This event is 2 years from now so still a long way to go on what we do and where we do it
Cheers

Howdy all you Datto Nuts,
Baz is not too keen on cold weather so we have never been to beautiful NZ as yet.
I have been wanting to go for many years and now we can start organising and epic trip over the water.
Thanks so much for the responses so far.
Although we will be staying on the North Island it is our intention to have a cruise on your roads and see some magic Dattos and scenery.
We may look at hiring a car or something like that.
So here's to 2017.....may it be the biggest gathering of Dattos in NZ ever!!!!!
Cheers:)

Would be awesome ^^ I got the grass paddock for the grasskhanas and if your keen enough you could pitch tents on the farm but its notorious for average weather here labour weekend :(
