Perhaps you could do some "tactical grinding" before you go ahead and cut the whole ring off.

taking 2 or 3mm off the ring might do it.

The problem i see is if the certy guy you get on the day has an issue with it he might say you modified another manufacturers product and not pass them rendering the TTT arms not usable.


if you just take off what you need it means they still look like the picture on the website.
